Quadruple Murder

Last week was really tough. A man shot his wife, 16-year-old daughter, sister, and 11-year-old nephew. He then committed suicide after burning his house down. It happened in the Greenhill Community in Lauderdale County (about 15 miles from where I live).

Here are two stories I did:

I did 7 reports on the murders. I was the only reporter from our station to cover the story. It was tough. It brought a lot of memories of the Eubanks in Nacogdoches. I was able to interview classmates of the mother, interview an aunt, and do a neat story at the candlelight vigil the school had for the 16-year-old.

Times are getting really bad. You have to live each day to the fullest because you never know when it will be your last.
