I really haven't been too excited about keeping up this blog. At work, we have been required to start a new Facebook page(http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/WATE-Josh-Ault/105716202852919?sk=app_126706584091564). Plus, keep up with Twitter, and everything else, so doing this just adds to the work load.
It seems like I am in a pretty normal schedule. I work Tuesday through Saturday nightside (which means 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM). I am really liking working nights (expect for the fact I don't get to keep up with any TV shows). It is a lot less stressful, and a little bit of a slower pace than working days. We just got new cameras at the station (photo included). They are super small, and super nice. It is called a P2 camera. Instead of using tapes, we use small P2 cards (photo included). It is more like a computer disk. We also have a new editing system call Eduis. It is something I used when I worked at WAFF-TV in Huntsville. If you watch my stories closely you can see some cool new effects in them.
I am still active in the Pleasant Ridge Ward. For the past few months, I have been the Ward Mission Leader. I am on my third set of Elders now. We have a meeting every Saturday to discuss their needs. We have had some issues, like texting young women, and using the Internet at members homes, but other than that they have been pretty good. We have a baptism set in a couple of weeks.
Along with being WML, I also get to teach Gospel Principles at church. I love teaching. When I started, we had two or three people coming. Now we average about 10 every Sunday.
I have been making sure to exercise regularly. I do two spin classes a week, weights a couple of times a week, and try to throw in some pool time. Today I swam for 30 minutes. I am trying to finish this year without getting a cold, so far so good. I have registered for this year's Marine Mud Run in Knoxville. I did it last year, and can't wait to get all muddy again. It is being held on Sept. 10.
There some things I can't talk about on here because co-workers read this, so if you want to know more just give me a call or e-mail me.
I am glad it's Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend.
