Josh runs his first 5K

On Friday, a couple of the women at the touism office next to mine (Alison and Beth), asked if I wanted to run in a 5K Saturday. I had a long week, and have never really liked running. But I thought I would try it. It turned out to be a lot of fun. The run was for breast cancer awarness. It was held at Spring Park in Tuscumbia (the city where Helen Keller was born). I beat both of my friends, I finished the 3 miles in 29:26. It felt really good, and got me excited to do more. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend doing it!
